Across eight appearances for Benetton, Zanandrea operates as a measured ball-carrier whose per-game output reflects a controlled, system-driven role rather than a high-volume one. His ability to spike well beyond his averages — posting 10 carries and 41 metres in a single outing — signals genuine upside when given the opportunity. He contributes consistently at the breakdown and in defence, averaging over a tackle per game across 300 minutes of Challenge Cup and URC action.
Federico Zanandrea is a professional rugby union centre registered with the Benetton, the South Africa-based franchise. He forms part of the matchday squad and is tasked with combining midfield defence with attacking distribution.
As a centre, Federico features for the Benetton across the United Rugby Championship, the Currie Cup and European club competition, with home fixtures played at South Africa in South Africa.
