Across 31 matches, Dumortier has proven himself a consistent offensive weapon, averaging close to a try every three games while eating up ground with his carries. His workrate is well-rounded for a wing — he contributes meaningfully in defence through nearly four tackles per match, and his peak outputs of 15 carries and 135 metres in a single game show he can take over when the opportunity demands. The numbers paint a picture of a player who is reliable rather than peripheral, doing the hard yards across competitions at a steady clip.
