Across 21 appearances as a replacement, Burger has built a profile defined by his defensive output, averaging over five tackles per outing and reaching 17 in a single game. His carrying numbers are modest but consistent, suggesting he is used primarily to stabilise rather than spark, bringing reliable physicality in the tight phases when he arrives. The volume of minutes accumulated across three competitions points to a player who earns sustained trust within the squad structure.
