Thomas is defined above all by his tackle output — averaging more than 13 per match across 27 appearances is a workload that marks him as a cornerstone of Cardiff's defensive structure. His carrying numbers are steady rather than explosive, contributing reliably with the ball in hand while his defensive duties clearly dominate his match role. A peak of 25 tackles and 11 carries in a single game shows he can combine both demands at their highest level simultaneously.
