Across 27 appearances Kelly has built a consistent profile as a centre who contributes steadily in both phases, averaging close to seven tackles per match alongside meaningful metres with ball in hand. His durability across Champions Cup and URC football is reflected in over 1 600 minutes played, and his best individual outings — touching double figures in carries and approaching 20 tackles — show he can step up his output when required. He is the kind of centre who does disciplined, repeatable work rather than flash.
