Loubser consistently contributes with ball in hand and in defence, averaging over seven carries and five tackles per match across his Rugby World Cup appearances. His willingness to carry — with single-game peaks of 12 carries and 11 tackles — points to a fly half who shoulders a heavy workload on both sides of the ball. That combination of running volume and defensive effort marks him as a high-involvement operator at international level.
