Across 23 appearances as a replacement, Gomes Sa has built a profile defined almost entirely by his defensive work, averaging close to four tackles per outing and accumulating 89 in total. His carrying numbers are modest by design — rarely tasked with ball-in-hand responsibility, he consistently shows up in the collision channel when it matters most. His best individual performances hint at the ceiling of that defensive impact, peaking at nine tackles in a single game.
