Across 36 URC appearances Winnett functions as a consistent ball-carrier rather than a peripheral full back, averaging nearly ten carries and 45 metres per match over more than 2 500 minutes of action. That workload, sustained across a large sample of games, points to a player who is regularly involved in his team's attacking structure rather than operating as a last line of defence only. His peak outputs — 17 carries and 129 metres in a single match — show he can take on a much heavier carrying burden when required.
Cam Winnett is a professional rugby union fullback registered with the Cardiff, the South Africa-based franchise. He forms part of the matchday squad and is tasked with covering the back field and counter-attacking from deep.
