Across 40 appearances for Glasgow Warriors, Afshar has operated as a compact, functional scrum half whose carry numbers suggest a role built around precision distribution rather than individual ball-carrying ambition. His tackle contribution is modest on a per-game basis, though his single-game peak of nine tackles shows he can step into a more defensive workload when the match demands it. The 375 metres accumulated on carry represents steady, reliable ground gain rather than game-breaking runs, painting a picture of a scrum half who services his team's structures consistently across both Champions Cup and United Rugby Championship competition.
