Across 40 appearances as a replacement, Vergnes consistently delivers high tackle volumes — nearly eight per match — marking him as a player who makes an immediate defensive impact when introduced. His carrying numbers are steady rather than explosive, but he contributes reliably with ball in hand to complement his defensive workload. Single-game peaks of 23 tackles and 13 carries show he can step up his output significantly when the match demands it.
