Veschambre's tackle numbers stand out immediately — averaging over eight per match across multiple competitions points to a lock who prioritises defensive work and puts himself in the contest consistently. His carrying game is steady rather than explosive, contributing reliable metres per outing, with his peak performance showing he can shoulder a significantly heavier workload when required. The combination of high tackle volume and consistent carrying across Champions Cup, Top 14, and U20 Championship rugby suggests a player comfortable operating at different levels of intensity.
