Amaya is a consistently busy ball-carrier at fullback, averaging over eight carries per match and contributing three tries across his three Rugby World Cup appearances — a strong return that points to genuine attacking threat from deep. His carrying load and meterage suggest he is used as a primary running option rather than a last line of defence, with his best game showing double-digit carries and over 50 metres gained. His tackle numbers are modest, reflecting a profile built around offensive contribution rather than defensive workload.
