Across 34 matches as a replacement, Retiere consistently contributes with the ball in hand, averaging over 19 metres per appearance from a modest carry count — suggesting he makes his touches count rather than forcing the game. His tackle numbers are steady across competitions, and peaks of 10 tackles and 12 carries in a single match indicate he can step up his workload when required. Six tries across the dataset point to a player who knows how to finish when opportunity presents itself.
