Griffin's tackle numbers stand out immediately — averaging over six per appearance as a replacement tells you he's being used to shore up defensive structures at critical moments in matches. His carrying load is modest but purposeful, with his best outings showing he can spike to seven carries and 16 metres when given the opportunity. Four tries across 24 appearances add an attacking dimension that prevents him from being purely reactive.
