Across 40 appearances as a replacement, Kuntelia's output is defined by his defensive workrate — averaging 4.4 tackles per outing and reaching 15 in a single match, figures that point to a player introduced specifically to shore up the gainline. His carrying is measured rather than frequent, with his best games showing he can contribute 8 carries and 20 metres when called upon. The overall picture is of a reliable impact substitute whose primary value lies in defensive solidity.
