Across six appearances in the Currie Cup and World Rugby U20 Championship, Boqwana consistently contributes with ball in hand, averaging over 26 metres per game from his carries at fullback. His best outings show he can push well beyond those averages, topping 70 metres and double-digit carries in a single match. Defensively he operates within the expected range for a back-three player, chipping in reliably without being heavily exposed in the tackle count.
